Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. And sometimes it throws you another!
I took a week off from the blog in early September for a planned vacation, and enjoyed myself immensely. I traveled to a nearby city for shopping, fancy dining, and a concert. Unfortunately when I came back home, I tested positive for Covid 19. Several of my coworkers and family have had it and were back to normal in just a few days, so I thought I would be to. Well, was I wrong! I was miserable for several days, I am so thankful that I didn't have a serious case, but it completely wiped my energy out for weeks.
The second curveball was a hospitalization and major surgery in a city over 2 hours away for my grandmother. It was a scary week while we waited for her to wake up. Thankfully she is awake now, but not out of the woods. It will be a long journey for her, but we are hopeful to have her back nearby soon and home soon after that.
I am now getting my normal level of energy back and not worried out of my mind, so hope to be back to card making soon. I have some super cute cards in mind to finish the Spooky Card Series 2022 out strong.
